The client brief Create a Yarning Circle, fire pit area, mud kitchen, grow walls and pathways for Narooma Pre School

It was a pleasure creating this sandstone Yarning Circle and fire pit for the students and staff at Narooma Pre School. The key objective of the brief was to design pathways through a main thoroughfare that would naturally slow student movement and encourage safer transitions between spaces. In response, Hush Landscapes introduced curved, circular pathways and garden beds that break up direct sightlines to the main yard, creating a more engaging and calming outdoor environment. The mulched garden beds have been intentionally left unplanted, allowing them to become an interactive conservation project for the students. The new outdoor space has been warmly welcomed by staff, parents and students alike.
